Abstract—This study aims to assess the impact of phytosanitary products on the quality of surface and groundwater. The technique was established through an integrated methodology encompassing field analysis, water sampling, and surveys of agricultural producers and vendors. Laboratory analyses included the detection of pesticide residues (herbicides, fungicides, insecticides, and acaricides). This article describes a reliable and efficient analytical method for determining and detecting pesticides at 8 wells throughout 2022 to 2025, along with the scientific study of these wells. The researchers employed advanced statistical techniques to find out how pesticides affected the quality of water in the Feija area. The results showed that there were phytosanitary products in the water, such as fungicides, herbicides, acaricides, and insecticides. The results show the existence of a moderate relationship between pesticides and water quality; this relationship indicates that pesticides contribute to the degradation of water quality.
