In order to gain understanding on how an event embedding sustainable development to reduce the event impacts, Olympic Games had chosen as case study in this study because this mega-event had been successfully embedded sustainability principles and objectives in all areas of Games planning. Content analysis was carried out in eight official reports published by the organizers of Olympic Games from the year of 1994 to 2012 to identify the sustainable practices in Olympic Games.
